Orchids Education Society, Nagpur established Arts, Commerce College at Ralegaon, Dist. Yavatmal on 1st of August 1990. Initially, the college was started in the rental building, but immediately after two years the society purchased a piece of 8 acres of land for the college, and constructed its own building. This building is situated in fresh, natural and pleasant atmosphere. It is on the way to Kalamb-Ralegaon road. The college is just two kilometers away from the town Ralegaon. The college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. It was initially granted permission to run B.A. and B.Com. three year degree courses. For Bachelor of Arts Marathi and English are compulsory subjects, whereas, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, History, Marathi Literature, English Literature, Home Economics, Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Thought are the elective subjects. Students can opt for any three of them along with compulsory subjects. As the college is situated in rural area, the college has offered the subjects helpful to the students for competitive examinations for seeking jobs. Similarly, in Bachelor of Commerce following subjects are available: Financial Accounting, Business Economics, Principles of Business Management, Computer (Fundamental and Operating System), Corporate Accountancy Business Mathematics and Statistic, Income Tax and Auditing, Money Finance System and Monitory System, Environment, Computer Information Technology, and Business Data Processing, Cost and Management Account, Business Environment, Business Regulatory Frame Work and Company Law and Computer (Internet World Wide Web and E- Commerce).  The vision of this college is reflected through the watchword in the college Logo ‘Vidya Rakshyati Abhyasen’ which broadly implies that knowledge protects us with its practice. The objectives of the college include imparting quality education through value based teaching and learning by traditional and innovative practices. The students are provided with a platform for exploring their creative potential. The college aims to inculcate a strong belief for dignity of hard work, gender equality and human rights. This  college follows the curriculum designed by Sant Gadge Baba Amaravati University.
